Thetop trending controversial topic this week has been the amount ofmoney French President François Hollande pays his barber. The Frenchgovernment confirmed that the president’s barber gets paid 9,985euros a month. I picked this story because that is an incredibly highamount to pay a barber. People also found it controversial since theycounted in the fact that the President’s hair is plain and has nounique style to it. (News).
Iwould like to have dinner with former South African President NelsonMandela. Nelson Mandela did something most people cannot do hepicked his beliefs over pleasure, despite the consequences. He waspromised freedom while in prison, and he was also offered money tostop the apartheid movement. He refused the offers he was freedafter 27 years in prison. He later became the first black SouthAfrican President. I would like to ask him what was the main thingthat kept him adamant during his 27-year-old prison sentence.
Iam passionate about art and design. I love art because it pleases thesoul. When I am extremely stressed, I always find peace in writingpoetry, listening to my favorite music, and watching my favoritemovies. Listening to music enables me to connect to my deepestemotions and mold them for the better. Writing poetry helps me openup and express myself, through poetry I can free myself from anythingthat might be bothering me, this act serves as my therapy. Art anddesign also motivate me, when I see great sculptures and read newinspirational books I get the energy to pull through life. Withoutart, life would have no meaning.
