Specialeducation refers to the learning arrangements offered to people withdisabilities. Organizations provide the necessary aid to fulfill theneeds of the citizens. Therefore, school programs help inaccomplishing the educational needs of individuals withexceptionalities. The scenario demonstrates the relation of specialeducation to the organization.

Educationalagencies play significant roles in ensuring that the needs of peoplewith exceptionality are met. They create and influence policies thatenable the achievement of educational goals for both exceptionalchildren and the average ones. The agencies also develop an enablingenvironment that promotes the growth and development of children withdisabilities (Birsh, 2011).

Theeducation programs for people with disabilities should be unique andelaborate. The programs should be set to increase the chances of thestudents benefiting from the regular class education. Other services,such as behavior consultant and interpreter services are necessaryfor special education.

Statisticsindicate that in a school-age population, it is estimated that 10 to13 % of students have exceptionalities. For instance, in a classroomof fifty students, about 6 to 8 students suffer from one or moreexceptionalities (Birsh, 2011). Individual activities can be relevantto people with disabilities. Leisure experience can be vital indeveloping equity. Recreation participation is another activity thatcan be of great benefit. It provides a learning experience that helpsin modeling student’s behavior.

Standardsfor multicultural competence should be maintained to promoteeffective communication for people with exceptionalities, families,and community personnel among others. Development of instructionalcontent prepares people to relate harmoniously with each other(Birsh, 2011). The learning environment is another cultural factorthat enhances effective communication. The environment should be safeand equitable to promote high standard values.

Professionalgroups and referral agencies assess and provide certain services topeople with exceptionalities. They play a role in accessing relevantinformation concerning legal and judicial matters. They also offerpost school services for a particular group of students who requireeducation. The agencies formulate strategies which link with theinteragency bodies that provide the post-school outcomes

Peoplewith exceptionalities need special education to enhance theiracademic and behavioral progress. Organizations and agencies areworking together to satisfy the needs of the physically challengedpeople.
