SUBJECT:RECCOMENDATION ON ADOPTIO OF AFFORDABLE CARE ACT
TheAffordable Care Act has couple of benefits as the U.S public healthpolicy. The Act has established various multiple laws that uponintegration make the federal legal framework. The Act providesseveral benefits to the employers, individuals and the government. Cognizant of the fact that the company is a mid-sized that has hadgrowth potential in the last 10 years with approximately 20% of theworkers being part time and has no extended health insurance benefitthat covers them to full time employees, we shall seek to offerrecommendations based on the merits and demerits of the Care Act.
Throughthe Act, the employees will all be universally covered, as there isshared responsibility between the government, individuals, andemployers. Additionally, the Affordable Care Act ensures that thereis fairness coverage as well as quality and affordable careprovision. In addition, the Affordable Care Act will help theemployer to minimize on wasteful spending and ensure that all thehealth care systems that are in place are accountable to thepopulation (Koh & Sebelius, 2010). Having the healthcare will beof great benefit to the Company, as it will ensure that the companyinvests strategically in health care, as it will expand the clinicalpreventive care as well as the community investments around it (Koh &Sebelius, 2010). All the workers will get longer-term changes intheir primary and preventive health care and this will be the bestway to strengthen health access in the work place. Nonetheless, implementation of the Affordable Care Act is challenging and requiresthat the company have enough resources.
Notably, comparing the opportunities that the Affordable Care Act will provideagainst the demerits, I highly advise the Company to adopt it, as itis an opportunity to provide transformative coverage and care to theCompany.
Whiledoing the course coverage, there were communications that werecovered. One of the areas that were of great interest is the type ofcommunication. First, the intrapersonal communication thatessentially deals with the communication that an individual haswithin himself or herself. Having this type of communication entailsgetting stimuli through different forms of senses or just throughinsight. In most cases, individuals get communication throughdifferent electric brain signals. Some of the forms of thiscommunication include meditation, thinking, and dreaming. The otherform of communication is the interpersonal communication, whichalludes to direct type of communication that happens between twopeople. In this mode of communication, three stages exist and theyinclude phatic, personal, and intimate. This form of communication iswidely applied and referred to as dyadic
.Even though the two remain as the most forms that I acknowledge andwidely know of, I am doing well in the non-verbal form ofcommunication. Through the non-verbal form of communication, I havebeen in a position to determine the various forms of interpersonalcontexts. I have learnt how best to communicate my emotions inaccurate manner through verbal. I can therefore communicate truefeelings and expressions using different non-verbal ques.
Oneof the concepts that I find very difficult in regards to technicalcommunication is the technical topics or matters. Often, I facedifficulty with terms and the best way to share my thoughts of theterms in the easiest way yet simple to understand (Walker & Hurt,1990).
