SUBJECT:RECCOMENDATION ON ADOPTIO OF AFFORDABLE CARE ACT

TheAffordable Care Act has couple of benefits as the U.S public healthpolicy. The Act has established various multiple laws that uponintegration make the federal legal framework. The Act providesseveral benefits to the employers, individuals and the government. Cognizant of the fact that the company is a mid-sized that has hadgrowth potential in the last 10 years with approximately 20% of theworkers being part time and has no extended health insurance benefitthat covers them to full time employees, we shall seek to offerrecommendations based on the merits and demerits of the Care Act.

Throughthe Act, the employees will all be universally covered, as there isshared responsibility between the government, individuals, andemployers. Additionally, the Affordable Care Act ensures that thereis fairness coverage as well as quality and affordable careprovision. In addition, the Affordable Care Act will help theemployer to minimize on wasteful spending and ensure that all thehealth care systems that are in place are accountable to thepopulation (Koh &amp Sebelius, 2010). Having the healthcare will beof great benefit to the Company, as it will ensure that the companyinvests strategically in health care, as it will expand the clinicalpreventive care as well as the community investments around it (Koh &ampSebelius, 2010). All the workers will get longer-term changes intheir primary and preventive health care and this will be the bestway to strengthen health access in the work place. Nonetheless, implementation of the Affordable Care Act is challenging and requiresthat the company have enough resources.

Notably, comparing the opportunities that the Affordable Care Act will provideagainst the demerits, I highly advise the Company to adopt it, as itis an opportunity to provide transformative coverage and care to theCompany.
