Vedasas a sacred Hindu scripture influences the daily lives of the Hindusin various scenarios. Foremost, it resonates as the foundation ofHinduism due to its emphasis on teaching wisdom and knowledge(Fisher, 2014).Vedasis perceived as the absolute authority for religious knowledge thatis imperative in daily living. For instance, many individuals recitethe Vedas each day and often believe that from this narration, theycan gain purification and increase their quality of life (Sattva).

Asignificant component of the Vedas is the Rig Veda (Verses ofWisdom). It comprises of over ten books and hymns that are recited toplease the principal gods of the Hindu war, wind, and rain(Fisher, 2014).By reciting the Rig Veda, the Hindu believe that their wrongdoingsare forgiven, as a result, they gain justice in the afterlife. RigVeda, therefore, offers eternal consciousness for an afterlife byassuring the execution of justice. Accordingly, having the knowledgeof the Vedas makes one noble and austere. In addition to this, theVedas is significant to the lives of the Hindus because when recited,the scriptures purify the air and make the environment holy.

Imperatively,the Vedas is a source of Hindu spiritual practices like yoga andmeditation. Furthermore, it acts as a source of persistence inseeking for the meaning of life as they attempt to relate to the godsand the world. For instance, Rig Veda is a critical part of theirreal salvation. Conclusively, Hindus believe that the Vedas is thefoundation of faith and spiritual existence.
