For instance, Plato came up with the theory of the allegory ofthe cave. It is a myth that explains the philosophical ignorance ofstaying in the dark to the philosophical wisdom of seeking the light.Plato’s myth presents philosophy as an activity of attainingfreedom using basic assumptions.

Epistemology, on theother hand, derives answers for questions related to the nature ofwisdom. Metaphysics deals with questions of reality and human freedomwhile ethics determines what’s good and bad and contributes a lotto the moral principles.

Individual critical perspective argues that the malephilosophers associate favorable traits with men, unlike women whohave unfavorable ones. This bias has aroused concern to feministphilosophers, who have questioned philosophy if they value women.Therefore, philosophers enable us to understand the significance andconsequence of our beliefs. It is for everyone and useful in theunderstanding of the world. Through philosophy, we can gain knowledgeabout the existence of a particular phenomenon.
